From Zero Form to Absolute Commodity (ZF/AC)
From Zero Form to Absolute Commodity (ZF/AC) is the artist’s book form of an ongoing project of the same name, first shown in Liberty and Death. The project interrogates the commodification of avant garde practices — here, Suprematism is brought into dialogue with Vogue Living (a Malevich for every home!). The book comprises a series of partially redacted found images, printed using one-colour Risography throughout and perfect bound. ZF/AC was produced on the occasion of the exhibition Just what is it that makes today’s interiors so seductive, so alluring?, in which it was presented as a stack of multiples.
