Between wanting and knowing

Between wanting and knowing comprises a series of speculative jewellery objects. Disjunctures between forms, materials and finishes characterise the series. Precious metals are brought into dialogue with disposable forms, in order to interrogate received notions of value. Further, forms are repeated, but no two pieces are alike. In this way, the conventional hierarchy of model and serial objects — of originals and copies — is called into question. (The same logic is manifest in the exhibition’s multiple logos also.)
